Žan Žepič is one of the most promising young athletes in the Slovenian trail community. Despite a relatively short history in the ultra world, he has quickly made a name for himself with rapid progress and a string of outstanding results at both domestic and regional races.
Sport has been a part of Žan’s life from the very beginning (road cycling, road running), but he discovered his true passion when he first set foot on the steep single-track trails of the Slovenian Alps. Since then, running shoes have become his everyday companion.

- 1st place – Istria100 by UTMB, 110 km (2025)
- 1st place – Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB, 80 km (2024)
- 1st place – Mozart100 by UTMB, 80 km (2024)
- 4th place – Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB, 50 km (2023)
Žan is known for his explosiveness on technical sections, his relentless climbing rhythm and his uncompromising approach to training. Within the community, many see him as an up-and-coming trail runner destined to shape the top of the Slovenian ultra scene in the seasons ahead.
