Aleš Svetina is a trail runner who stands out at first glance. Not only for his results but also for his unique sporting journey. Before discovering his passion for trail running, he spent years in the fitness world, where he also competed. In 2018, he became the national champion in the Physique category (IBFF) and took 4th place at the World Championship (IBFF). Despite his success on stage, he felt his heart pulling him toward nature and the world of endurance sports.
Eager for new challenges, he became fascinated with trail and ultra running. The discipline and physical strength gained in fitness allowed him to rise quickly among Slovenia’s trail and ultra runners. In 2023, he became national champion in long trail (65 km, Obala Ultra Trail), and in 2025, national champion in the 12-hour road run (Slo24Run, Kranj). But his ambitions reach much further. He wants to prove himself on the world stage and become a regular among the best at the biggest races.
His story is one of change, growth and the search for deeper meaning. He is distinguished by his relentless dedication to sport and his unyielding perseverance. As a member of the Flowdurance team, he is building not only his own career but also a broader mission: to inspire through sport, encourage personal growth and show that the limits are always higher than we imagine. His philosophy “Earn Yourself” is more than a slogan – it’s a way of life that he carries onto the trails and beyond.
For him, Flowdurance means reliable support as well as partnership in the development of the sport through the brand’s shared vision: to build the future of trail running through community, innovation and pushing the boundaries of human performance.
