“The greatest progress comes when you’re willing to go one step further – even when your legs hurt and your mind tells you it’s enough.” – Klemen Štular
Klemen Štular is a Slovenian trail runner who built his athletic path on persistence, discipline and a love for nature. Since early childhood, he has been a regular visitor of the mountains, a passionate alpine hiker and ski tourer. In trail running, he sought a new challenge – and found it on mountain paths, where he combined endurance, technical skill and an uncompromising character.
His transition to trail running was extremely successful. Even as a newcomer, he achieved a series of remarkable results in the first seasons on short and medium distances. He established himself as one of the most consistent competitors in Slovenia.
Klemen is known for his aggressive pace on climbs and confident descents on technical terrain, which makes him a very dangerous opponent on demanding courses with a lot of elevation gain. For him, trail running is not just a sport, but a holistic approach to life in which he seeks balance between physical strength and mental calmness.
“The mountains quickly teach you that nothing comes without an effort. But precisely because of that, every finish line means even more.” – Klemen Štular
